The Student Symposium continues the tradition of the Ethnosymposium. After a short break, the format is back — since 2004 it has been a place for open exchange, connection and the creative discussion of anthropological topics by students for students, every year at a different location in a German-speaking country. This year, the event will be held bilingually in English and German and welcomes students of anthropology and related disciplines.

The Student Symposium is more than a conference — it’s a space by students, for students (for social sciences fields)
Over two days at Uni Cologne, expect inspiring talks, hands-on workshops, meaningful exchange, and a party to celebrate it all! We will start with a programme the day before and then have an other day of activities the day after the conference
